A Twitter Screenshots alternative that captures the whole post

Checked October 8, 2026 · Written by the maker of Quillshot

Twitter Screenshots is the largest tweet screenshot extension we found on the Chrome Web Store, with 6,000 users. Its Chrome Web Store page shows a 2.8-star rating and no update since September 5, 2024.

The reviews explain the rating. A December 2025 review says long posts are captured only up to "Show more", even after expanding them. Older reviews mention the bottom of posts with images being cut off, and ask for whole threads, a keyboard shortcut and repost counts.

Should you switch?

Stay with Twitter Screenshots if it still works for the short posts you capture and you never need more than that.

Try Quillshot if you have run into cut-off posts, or you want threads as carousel slides for Instagram or LinkedIn.

Quillshot is new, so it has few users and no reviews yet. It needs no account and does no tracking; your settings and uploads stay on your computer.
